Keeping Up to Date with the Latest Software

A number of staff members from IN Focus are attending training courses this fall to stay ahead of the latest wave of new software. The spotlight was on SharePoint 2010 and the benefits it can bring to our clients as one of our team members spent the past week in Las Vegas. Another is off to Berlin in November to study the most recent best practices for Exchange, Office, Windows 7, and more.

We took in the live webcast of the Windows 7 launch in New York today. Steve Ballmer did a great job, and we have some exciting times ahead with this revolutionary operating system.

Companies wishing to reap the benefits of upcoming software releases such as Windows 7 and Office 2010 should consider the various licensing options now available. A new offering from Microsoft Canada called Open Value Subscription enables costs to be spread through the life of the software, allows for an annual adjustment to the number of licenses utilized, and several other benefits over traditional licensing.
